The protagonist suddenly appears in The Mysterious Place, where he/she encounters several ghostly characters: The Wanderer, The Specter, and The Light. While questioning his/her whereabouts he/she encounters The Gravekeeper, who intimidatingly manifests from a dark mist. Shortly after, the protagonist is taken to his/her own grave. After the sorrowful realization of his/ her death, he/she is instructed to touch the headstone to meet his/her fate.
